Yap Yap Fifi fans! Don’t you just love that song written for us dogs! I think that’s great, I love to run around the house in the nakey to that one.

It’s been a good week over at the Pet Poets Club headquarters, we’ve got a greetings card range in the making which is going to be available online so you can write your own cute message on them! All the Pets at the PPC have been busy posing in front of the camera all week making sure we get the best pics for you guys to paw over! They’ve been dressing up like santa for the Christmas range, our cat friends looks so cute in reindeer antlers, expecially the persians, although you wouldn’t know it to look at their face.

Ooh though, hasn’t it turned chilly out especially for us Chihuahua’s, we are weenie little things as you know. The best bit though is wearing all the latest hoodies and dog wellington boots, any excuse to dress up in the latest poochy gear. BOL!

Now then, it’s that time again, time to meet a new friend, a terribly exotic creature called Lexi, Sexy Lexi! And she’s a Lhas Apso and we’ve never met one of them before on Fifi yaps, to be honest I’m not sure what one is but I’m about to find out, so lets stop yapping and turn our attention to Lexi Anne and hear what she’s got to yap about….

Favourite place to sleep: On my Mommy’s pillow or her lap
Favourite food: Royal Canine (well really it’s Filet Mignon)

Well hi there Lexi, it’s difficult not to call you sexy Lexi, you’re gorgeous! Us gorgeous girls can say that to other gorgeous girls can’t we? Do you get groomed every day as you’re so silky, how do you do it?
Thank you so much. Fifi you certainly are a gorgeous girl as well. I was never able to grow my hair so long until my Mommy found this strawberry milk bath shampoo that they sell at Petco. I get a bath in it every two weeks. Mommy says that I smell just like a strawberry milkshake, LOL. We brush my hair out every other day and put my hair up every day. With the milk bath shampoo it is really easy to manage.

I can imagine you would slide really well across a shiny wooden floor, do you run and skid across the lounge floor at home?
I sure do, it is one of my favorite things to do. Mommy will throw one of my toys for me and when I run after it I slide all over the place. I think that just does it to get me to mop up the floor with my hair, LOL.

Can you tell our readers a bit about your breed?
Lhasa Apso’s originated in Tibet, and were only bred by holy men and nobles. Thought to bring good luck, this breed was considered to be sacred. For this reason, the Lhasa were used as watchdogs in monasteries for over 2000 years. They say we are highly intelligent, with keen instinct and acute hearing.

Do you like to wear clothes? Do you have many clothes in your doggy wardrobe and where do you get them from?
I love to wear clothes. In the morning Mommy will open up my closet and I will look and look at my clothes and eventually take my nose and pick which one I want to wear. We then find me a matching hair bow to go with it, a girl has to accessorize, LOL. I think I have more clothes that Mommy does, hehehehe. I get them from a lot of places, Petco and doggy boutiques and from several stores online. A lot of my friends send me clothes too. I get so excited when I get a new outfit.

Where do you live and why? Can you give our English readers a flavour of your lifestyle?

I live in the United States, in McDonough, GA. My Mommy was born in GA and all of our family is here. Georgia is a very beautiful state, we have mountains and are on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. We have four full seasons here. In winter it usually gets down in the 20’s and 30’s, in summer it averages in the 90’s. In the year 1996 we hosted the Olympics. Our Airport, Hartsfield Jackson, is the busiest airport in the world.

What is your perfect day?
Lets see, I would sleep in late and wake up to a nice tummy rub and a Puperoni delivered to me in bed with some nice chilled water. I would then run out for my morning business and sniff the perimeter of my backyard. When I came in I would have a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs (I don’t get much people food). After I got dressed in a new outfit Mommy would take me shopping for lots of new outfits, toys and treats. Then we would come home and take a nice long nap together. When we woke up we would watch the Shaggy DA. All my friends would come over for a big dinner with me of steak and chicken on the grill. We would swim in my pool and then all take a nap together (I LOVE my naps, LOL). Then me and Mommy would play a fun game where I could slide across the floor. Then we would snuggle back up in bed and watch a Lassie marathon while we snacked on some popcorn. Oh and we would win the lottery, LOL.

I heard you have a boyfriend called Gizmo, what’s he like? You know, between us girls.
Gizmo is a Shih Tzu and is a real Sweetie, he has the cutest little smile and the softest fur.

I also have another boyfriend Little Mikey, I like to play the field, what can I say, LOL. Mikey is so romantic and looks like a boy version of me.
He makes my little heart pitter patter. When he wags his tail it just drives me crazy. His bark is so sexy.
